Career Lounges
The Career Lounge offers a quiet atmosphere in which participants can talk to the HR managers of our partner companies and find out about career opportunities. The face-to-face meeting lasts up to 25 minutes.
Procedure:
- You confirm the time slot we assigned to you.
- You register via StudOn for the companies you would like to talk to and the specific time slot.
- We assign you to the requested time slots and notify you by email.
Lectures
In interesting lectures, students will receive helpful tips from experienced coaches on all aspects of job applications and starting a career. All areas are covered: from economic topics to practical knowledge for your career entry as well as personal development.
Workshops
As part of the Career Day, a diverse range of workshops will once again be offered this year. These sessions provide participants with practical guidance on presenting their qualifications and personal strengths in job interviews, identifying and leveraging their individual strengths, and preparing effectively for assessment centres.
Photo Shoot
For a great first impression a professionally shot application photo that is included in your application documents is essential. Our photographer Giulia Iannicelli helps students with the perfect application photo and will photograph you from the best angle. The edited images will be available via a download link a few days after the shoot. The style of the photos will be similar to the ones of the department’s official portraits.
CV-Checks
When it comes to finding a job, the CV and cover letter are milestones in the application process, because they determine whether you appear suitable to a recruiter and are invited to a personal interview. The fact that application documents should be visually appealing and that spelling mistakes are an absolute no-go is no longer a new insight. However, there are specific details that can perfect your application.
